This product has a one-year warranty which covers workmanship and material quality. We will replace any products if found to be defective within one year of normal use. Our customer service department will be able to help you with a warranty claim.
We are the largest and most respected retailer of mayan hammocks online. Our mayan hammocks are made from the highest quality materials which if used correctly can last for several years. The true lifespan of a hammock absolutely depends upon on its owner. We do offer a 1-year satisfaction guarantee which covers manufacturing defects. If within one year of shipment the hammock has a flaw due to a manufacturing defect, we will replace the item. We reserves the right to make the final decision to replace the hammock. If you believe your hammock has prematurely worn out, you may ship the product to us for inspection. Whether the hammock is used indoors or outdoors, we do not cover damages caused by tampering, misuse, acts of God, attacks by animals, plant life, careless treatment, glass, fire, articles of clothing, improper cleaning, neglect, misuse, mildew, or prolonged exposure to inclement weather. We would like to remind you that although Mayan Hammocks can carry large amounts of weight they are delicate items that require careful handeling.
Return & Exchange Policy
Customer satisfaction is our top priority. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return or exchange the item, please contact us within 30 days of receipt of your purchase. Items must be returned in new, unused and resalable condition, and in its original packaging. Return shipping costs will be at the customer's expense. Some of our products are offered with free shipping, so please note if you return a product that has free shipping, our actual outbound shipping costs will be deducted from your return refund. Returns will be inspected prior to issuing credit. Original shipping costs may be waived if exchanging for another item of same or greater value. Our Customer Care Specialists will be happy to assist you with any return or exchange.
GETTING INTO A HAMMOCK
Sit with your back to the hammock, as if you are about to sit on a chair. Reach behind you and spread out the hammock before sitting. This ensure you make full use of the space and your weight is distributed evenly. Now sit down and lay back NEVER climb in feet first.
GETTING OUT OF A HAMMOCK
Swing your legs over the side and sit up. Then standing hold the edges of the hammock and push yourself up and off.
FINDING AN ANGLE

EThe most comfortable way is at an angle, this allows you to lie flat with better distribution of weight, lessening tension, and supporting your back for complete comfort. Some of the wide hammocks (Large and XXL) are best when lying across the center Large hammocks can sit two people in a variety of positions. You can experiment and find your favorite.
GETTING THE HANG OF IT
INSIDE THE HOUSE
ON A PORCH: Hang the hammock from wall studs or ceiling beams. Find center of stud or beam and with a power drill screw in hooks. Then hang the hammock. You can use a rope to compensate the extra distance.
OUTSIDE THE HOUSE: Use side of house or garage. You can use strong fence post, and plant your own post across from it. You may also use available trees, or one tree and one post. If there are'nt trees or usable walls, place two posts the correct distance apart and hang your hammock between them. Post must be 8 ft long and holes dug 2-3 ft deep so posts stand above grounds 5-6 ft. Use cement to secure.
FROM TREES: Use hooks if trees can take them without damages; or tie rope around trunk or strong branch.
SAIL BOATS: May be hung from mast to forestay, we recomend the nylon mayan hammocks for use on boats.
